The Holidays

For these summer holidays I am going to Nelson And Rotorua. In Nelson I am going to go visit lots of family members. In Rotorua I am staying at our family Batch which is really fun because we get to go swimming. One of my family traditions is seeing lots of my family members that I never get to see during the rest of the year if you can call that a tradition.

HighLights

My highlights for this term are, Dodge ball, Space, the retreat, and Hopefully the big day out. Dodge ball this term has been as fun as always especially because I am becoming better at it. Space has also been very fun learning about our universe and everything in it. The retreat this year was the best retreat I have had, my favorite part was when we all went down to Ian Galloway park and played cricket. The Big Day out used to be one of my favorite days of the year but lately it has been becoming more and more about actually learning about nature, take last year for example we went to Zealandia bird Sanctuary but on my first Big day out we went bowling which was so much fun, so I hope that this year it will be different. But all up it was an amazing term and I still cant believe that it is my final term at St Bens.         

Collage

Next year I am going to St Pats and I cant wait to leave St Bens, Its not that St bens has been bad but I have been here 8 years so I am so ready to move on. Next year I would like to try to play some new sports. I am looking forward to starting a new school. Some of the things that I might find challenging is some maths things.

My Speech

I think i did well for my speech it i didnt screw up to bad. but i felt that my voice was a bit shakey and quite, I did do better then i had hoped because i thaught that i was going to stuff up and trip on my words. My favourite speech in our class was definitely Aisling's speech it was about useless inventions, but she had a good visual aid.

My Favourite book recently

My favourite book recently has been the testing by Joelle Charbonneau this book takes place in a world when they had a war and have different states the main character is chosen to go to the testing after being the top in her class. When she gets to the testing facility she goes through a bunch of tests. My favourite character was Cia who is the girl that had to go through the testing. She is my favourite character because she goes from very airy to ruthless.this book is an amazing read and would totally recommend this to anyone Over 13 because it contains some violence.

My Speech

My speech is why you should buy an Xbox 360 And I am nervous about this speech because You have to speak in front of about 30 people, I am also worried that I will stuff up really hard  

Space

In topic this term we are doing space, the thing I found most interesting was that Venus is closer to the earth then mars is to earth this interested me because I always thought that it was mars. another thing that interested was how the seasons worked I thought they just happened but it actually has something to do the orbit of the earth. but all up the space is very interesting and I can't wait to learn more.
