Parliament

I have leant lots about parliament in the past week. like what a democracy is and what communism is. I also found out how the parties get elected into parliament. I also cant wait to learn more about our parliament.

Reading

This term we have had the reading goals set for us. So far I have done the random challenge and family challenge the books I read for those we're the testing and house of secrets. The goals I'm going for for the rest of the term are the ten book challenge and the series challenge. The series I'm hoping to read is the rest of the Testing series. The other books I am hoping to read are the other house of secrets book and John Grisham.

My Favorite Sport

Cricket is definitely my favourite part of the sport is the fact that it can be going slow and then all of a sudden the game comes alive. I think everyone should at least try the sport because it is really fun and you learn skills like how to throw a ball and how to catch. you can also build strength by practicing your batting this is also the best sport because it isfun and easy to play.

The Production

The production this year is way more serious then previous years because in previous years we have just learnt one dance but this year we have to do way more like costumes that take a long time to get ready and so they look good. I don't have any lines but I have done lots of work pressing a button over and over several times. I think I can become better at this job by playing computer games and practice by button pressing.

Inspirational song

My inspirational song is robots by Flight of the Concords I like this song because it reminds me of camp which reminds me that if I can dangle from 6m I can do pretty much any I put my mind to. This song was made as a live skit for a concert they did. the song was produced properly in 2008 for the album flight of the concords. the song is about a world were their is no humans and they talk about the robot dance and the fact that there are no elephants.

Art

For this painting I used paint and dye for the background. I like this painting because I put a lot of effort into it and it was one of the best pieces of art I have ever done.          

                              

Nairnville

Nairnville is A gym near our school, that we go to do gymnastics, rugby, soccer and many other sports, but this term was gymnastics. they had three stations set up so every 11 minutes we swapped over to the next station, We did the beam, rings and climbing on three year old equipment, you might be thinking three year old equipment? Well apparently someone decided to bring out the climbing frames (which is just a bunch of wooden ladders) and expected 12 year olds to use them, and I'm not the smallest child there has ever been and they creak and that is the most dauntless thing when your 1-1.5 meters off the ground.
